We are looking for a highly motivated Paralegal to join our Legal team in Sliema!

About the job:

A unique opportunity has emerged for a skilled and passionate Paralegal to join our Legal department. The right candidate will play an important part of a team which handles a lot of interesting and challenging projects for many different stakeholders.

What you'll get to do:

• Drafting, vetting and preparing standard legal documents;
• Liaising with external lawyers as may be required and keeping track of legal disputes;
• Researching various legal issues;
• Assisting managers with data collection and reporting;
• Maintaining an organized and structured filing system;
• Assisting the Legal Team in any other manner deemed necessary.

What You need to know:

• University Law degree;
• Minimum 1 year experience as a paralegal, legal intern or administrator in a law firm, gaming, corporate or financial services company;
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office package, (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Fluency in English, including legal English;
• Be meticulous and motivated;
• Be able to work on own initiative and to provide pragmatic solutions against tight time-frames;
• Be able to communicate internally and externally at all levels;
• Detail-oriented, organized, flexible;
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Analytical thinking (solution driven);
• Ability to perform under pressure;
• Comfortable in a complex and changing business environment.
