Project description:
PlayMatrix creates state-of-the-art live casino games from scratch. Roulette and Blackjack (and many-may more other games) with real dealers streamed to players all across the world with lowest latency and highest quality.
Job Summary:
You will work closely with CTO and ‘ll be in charge of technology infrastructure and systems within our live casino studios.
This role involves defining technologies, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and optimization of all technical equipment and processes, ensuring seamless broadcasting of live games.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in broadcast technology, studio operations, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup, configuration, and maintenance of all studio technology, including cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and broadcasting systems.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of all technical equipment and systems within the studios.
- Implement and maintain robust IT and AV infrastructure to support live game broadcasts. Lead projects related to studio buildouts, upgrades, and expansions.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of technical staff, including studio technicians and studio tech support.
- Develop training programs to keep the team updated on the latest technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical support during live broadcasts to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of broadcasts, implementing improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the live casino and broadcasting industry.
- Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance studio operations and player experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in broadcast technology or studio operations, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Proven experience managing technical teams and complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, IT infrastructure, and broadcast technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen aptitude for sharp feedback and structured communication.
- Desire to work on building things the "right" way.
- Independence and self-motivation.
Work Life Balance:
- 40% work from home, over any 3-month period (can work one month per quarter abroad)
