What You'll get to do:

• Collaborate with Team Leaders, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to understand, clarify, and translate business requirements into testable acceptance criteria.

• Take responsibility for the entire testing activity: from building the test framework to test execution, from gap analysis of the existing solutions to extending those according to the project requirements.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts covering functional scenarios (API, integration, E2E) and non-functional areas using Python-based tooling.

• Create, maintain, and report upon Regression Test suites.

• Define and establish automation strategy and process for Web Applications (mostly Back End).

• Creating Test Plans according to internal procedures.

• Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with creation, execution and maintenance of automated tests using scripts and automation tools.

• Manage defect tracking, report issues to development teams, and ensure resolution and validation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

What we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Automation testing (Backend side) on Python, Pytest.

• Experience in working closely with the development team when performing testing activities as part of the same team.

• Familiarity with Test Case Management and Bug Tracking tools, preferably TestRail Jira.

• Familiar with: Rest web services & API testing tools.

• Knowledge in working with CI tools: preferably GitLab-CI etc.

• Accuracy in reporting issues, all steps to reproduce and the issue’s behavior.

• Experience in creating test specifications and test cases according to development requirements, maintaining them regularly updated, and creating business cases according to development requirements – Test Rail.

• Experience in working with relational DBs, preferably Google Big Query or PostgreSQL.

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and best practices, with a keen eye for detail.

• Familiarity in applying Decision Tables when dealing with complex business logic.

• Ability to understand complex technical architecture.

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have skills:

• Understanding of application flow/ business from an end user, a technical person (developer) and a client point of view.

• Experience in load testing, preferably Locust.

• Prior experience in iGaming, online casino, or sports betting domains — familiarity with real-money transaction flows, odds engines, or regulatory compliance testing is a strong advantage.

• Knowledge regarding APIs and how to interpret/use them related to a rest API service and sockets.

• Good knowledge of Agile practices and experience in SCRUM teams.
