We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Trainee/Junior BI/DB Developer to join our team in Lviv!

What You'll get to do:

• Data Processing: Develop real-time data processing and aggregations.

• Data Warehousing: Create and modify data marts to enhance the data warehouse.

• Integrations: Manage both internal and external integrations.

• Reporting: Build and maintain various types of reports to support business decisions.

Our main stack:

Databases: BigQuery, PostgreSQL, SQL

1. ETL: Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi

2. Streaming: Apache Kafka
   
   What You need to know:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field.

• Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Computer Science (Software Engineering, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Networking, etc.).

• RDBMS Mastery: Strong knowledge of at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL), specifically:

  • Database internals

  • Query optimization

  • Indexing

  • Partitioning

• Data Engineering Experience: * Practical experience with ETL/ELT processes.

  • Experience in creating or supporting Data Warehouses.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) platform.

• Language: English proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher (reading, writing, speaking).
  
  Nice to have:

• Cloud Warehousing: Knowledge of Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Redshift, or Snowflake.

• Coding: Programming skills in Python or Java.

• Tooling: Experience with Apache Airflow and Apache NiFi.
