About the job: 

Join our Stockholm Game Studio and be at the forefront of creating visually stunning slot games that captivate players worldwide. As a Senior Artist, you'll have the opportunity to blend traditional artistic excellence with modern tools and technologies, including AI when beneficial, leading the way in innovative game art creation. This role offers the perfect balance of creative freedom, technical challenge, and leadership opportunity in a rapidly evolving industry. Our recent games*—such as Gold Pigger, Vulcan’s Gold, and Shadow Summoner Egypt—have been topping the charts, and we are at the beginning of an exciting journey to become a major studio in the iGaming industry. 

What You'll get to do: 

Art Creation and Quality Assurance Create high-quality art assets that set the visual standard for EveryMatrix's slot products 

Design and develop compelling symbols, backgrounds, and UI elements that enhance game appeal 

Ensure consistent art style and quality across all game elements 

Maintain efficient productivity while meeting deadlines and quality benchmarks Review and provide feedback on art assets to maintain visual cohesion AI Integration and Innovation 

Identify opportunities where AI and other modern tools can enhance productivity without compromising quality 

Thoughtfully integrate AI art generation tools when they provide clear benefits to the workflow 

Balance traditional artistic approaches with new technologies to achieve optimal results 

Maintain artistic integrity while leveraging available tools effectively 

Visual Development and Concepting 

Create compelling visual concepts for new game themes and features 

Ensure that art assets effectively support game mechanics and features 

Technical Understanding and Optimization Create assets that meet technical specifications and performance requirements 

Collaborate with technical artists to ensure efficient asset implementation 

Leadership and Mentorship 

Provide art direction and mentorship to junior artists 

Review and critique team members' work constructively 

Share knowledge and best practices with the art team 

Project Management and Communication 

Accurately estimate time requirements for art tasks 

Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively 

Contribute to project planning and resource allocation discussions 

Continuous Learning and Growth 

Stay current with industry trends in game art and slot game design 

Research and share new artistic techniques and tools 

Attend relevant workshops and training sessions 

What You need to shine: 

Proficiency with Spine 

Ability to work in various art styles 

Excellent communication, patience, open-mindedness, and a willingness to learn 

Good English skills 

Understanding of slots and the gambling business is a big plus
