We are looking for a dedicated Group Payroll Specialist to our team in Bucharest!
About the job:
EveryMatrix is looking for a Group Payroll Specialist in our HR team in Bucharest. As part of the HR admin & payroll team within the HR Department, you act as a subject matter expert and manage HR admin, payroll & reporting areas, ensuring support for all internal clients on different programs, processes, tools and systems, striving for compliance with legislation and delivering outstanding employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct the payroll processes and manage the relationship with outsourcing company, providing on-time and accurate information and documents needed for payroll cycles or for any other scope, ensuring effective communication and trying to find solutions that constantly improve collaboration and bring efficiency in process;
- Responsible in updating, maintaining and centralizing data in/from internal tools in order to provide all the needed information required for monthly payroll, such as personal and employment data, bonuses, deductions, bank accounts, etc., ensuring accuracy;
- Checks the payroll prepared by the external providers and able to identify possible discrepancies;
- Ensure support for all needed documents, reports, invoices, etc. for monthly closing
- Run, create and develop reports on HR data for analysis and decision-making, statistical data analysis, audit processes, budget process and other reports required by managers;
- Provides support to employees regarding pay slips and clarifies any details related to salary calculation in a way easy to understand and with focus on customer needs;
- Ensures compliance with internal policies and legislation, and oversees the implementation of necessary legal changes within the company;
- Act as a backup for Admin and Payroll specialists when needed;
- Manage the internal and external communication with stakeholders related to payroll and admin area;
- Participate in assigned training and self-learning based on the development plan;
- Works in a team, constantly collaborates with the rest of the members, according to internal workflows.
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in economics preferred;
- Human Resources inspector and payroll certificates would be a plus;
- Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required;
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation/ fiscal legislation;
- Advanced MS Office package (especially Excel);
- Fluent in English;
- Ability to work independently, as well as engaging with co-workers in different project teams
- Good planning and organizing and ability to prioritize activity
- Customer service-oriented person and willing to help
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactivity and excellent communication skills
- Integrity and trust, accurate working style
- Ability to work with various tasks, that can change depending on the business needs
Here's what we offer:
- Start with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year with us.
