We are looking for a Corporate Development Manager to join our team in Copenhagen!
We are expanding our presence in Denmark, and you will be joining a small but growing team focused on building a high-performing organization in the heart of Copenhagen. The role will require occasional travel to our other offices, primarily to our main office in Bucharest.
About the job:
This role is a key part of our corporate development team, focused on evaluating M&A opportunities, conducting financial and strategic analyses, and supporting end-to-end transaction execution. You will also contribute to cross-functional strategic projects aimed at driving efficiency and performance across the organization. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded professional with experience in corporate finance, M&A, and/or management consulting, who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across functions to drive strategic growth.
What You'll get to do:
- Support and manage end-to-end M&A processes, including sourcing, evaluation, analysis, due diligence, and execution of transactions
- Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives
- Conduct peer group and market analyses to benchmark performance, assess competitive positioning, and identify strategic opportunities
- Coordinate and oversee cross-functional due diligence activities, ensuring timely information flow and risk assessment across legal, finance, operations, HR, and technology workstreams
- Conduct internal financial and organizational analyses to support strategic planning, performance evaluation, and capital allocation decisions.
- Support management reporting by preparing deal summaries, performance dashboards, and strategic insights for executive leadership and the Board
- Collaborate with business unit leaders on post-merger integration planning, execution, and performance tracking to ensure value realization
- Assist in cross-functional strategic projects that drive growth, operational efficiency, and organisational development
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform corporate strategy and identify potential opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Economics, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a corporate development, investment banking or a top tier management consulting firm.
- Proven experience in managing or supporting M&A processes is required
- Industry experience in gaming is a plus.
- Strong financial acumen, project management skills, and ability to work across functions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience navigating senior leadership and cross-cultural teams
- Willingness to travel for events, meetings, and market research activities.
