About the role:
The Technical Compliance Director will play a crucial role in evaluating iGaming regulations and ensuring our products are compliant. This position requires a deep understanding of the iGaming industry, regulatory frameworks, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive regulatory evaluations, identifying gaps, and formulating strategic plans to address compliance issues.
Responsibilities
- Hold accountability for the overall technical compliance strategy and its successful implementation.
- Lead and manage the technical compliance team, ensuring effective monitoring and enforcement of compliance standards.
- Establish the yearly new markets entry strategy in collaboration with the commercial team and oversee its succesful execution.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all relevant iGaming regulations and standards for the company's products and services.
- Develop and implement technical compliance policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the integrity of iGaming operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and legal, to ensure compliance requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor regulatory developments and changes in the gaming industry, and update compliance practices accordingly.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential compliance risks and issues.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on technical compliance matters and best practices.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors to manage compliance audits and inquiries.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Actively contribute in tenders where technical compliance information is needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in the iGaming or gambling industry.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of iGaming regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory documents and identify compliance gaps.
- Good understanding of software development processes and technical infrastructure.
- Proficient in MS Office and Jira.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using business analysis tools and software.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or a related field.
- Familiarity with risk management and audit processes.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the iGaming industry.

- Start with 24 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 34 days by your fifth year with us.

- Hybrid work schedule: 60% work from the office and 40% work from home per quarter (during your first 3 months, you'll be in the office full-time).
