About the job:

We are seeking a skilled Stage Rigger to join our production team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient setup, operation, and dismantling of rigging systems for live events, performances, and productions.

What you'll get to do:

• Set up and dismantle rigging equipment, including trusses, hoists, and suspension systems for stage productions.
• Inspect and maintain rigging gear to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with lighting, sound, and production teams to plan and execute rigging requirements.
• Safely lift and position lighting, audio, and scenic elements according to production specifications.
• Perform load calculations and determine appropriate rigging points to ensure structural integrity.
• Conduct safety checks before and during events to minimize risk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve rigging-related issues in real time.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in maintaining inventory of rigging equipment and reporting any damage or maintenance needs.

What You Need to Shine:

• Previous experience as a Stage Rigger or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with truss systems, chain hoists, and counterweight systems.
• Ability to read and interpret rigging plots and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical strength and stamina to work at heights and handle heavy equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in live events or theater production environments.
• Basic knowledge of lighting and sound systems.
