We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Middle FrontEnd Engineer to join our team in Bucharest!
About the job:
Working on the group level, Everymatrix Front-End (short EMFE) is the department that manages everything related to the front-end: from some banners or the need for a logo to a fully functional, cutting-edge online casino.
It’s an exciting product (especially for us and hopefully for you) and we’re looking for people who are ready to face a challenge, analyze existing functionality and transform and adapt it into something great using the latest stack of Web technologies. You will be working on our own framework that is built on top of ReactJs. This is a cool new project that we’ll be using to deliver white-label websites faster than ever.
What you'll get to do:
Development:
- Meet task deadlines and estimate development time accurately.
- Implement tasks efficiently and test across various devices and browsers.
- Track development time in Jira and prevent recurring issues in production.
Code Quality and Review:
- Follow coding standards and promote clean code practices.
- Assist junior developers through code reviews and feedback.
- Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring standards are met.
- Provide clear feedback so submitters understand both what and why changes are needed.
Scalability & Performance:
- Suggest and implement solutions to enhance the scalability and stability of the project.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Keep project documentation up-to-date, adding comments and README notes as needed.
- Share best practices and collaborate with team members and the Product Owner/Project Manager.
- Participate in daily meetings, identify issues, and contribute to solutions.
- Support testing and support teams with technical issues and share knowledge through various forms like feedback, presentations, and recommendations.
What you need to shine:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in JavaScript.
- Proven experience with REST web services and/or web APIs.
- NodeJs experience.
- Database experience.
- Experience with all stages of software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of OOP and Data Access / Management.
- Knowledge about design patterns, optimization techniques and best practices.
- Ability to work in a Kanban system with fast switching priorities.
- Proven interest in testing, code review, and code quality.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and give/receive feedback.
Nice to have
- Experience using performance profiling tools and using different performance improvement techniques.
- NestJs, ReactJs, Redis, Kafka.
- Docker knowledge.
- Unix experience.
