Head of Human Resources

We are currently seeking a Head of HR, eager and ready to wear several hats during their journey inside EveryMatrix: you will manage an HR team supporting 12 different offices all over the world. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate and implement a variety of HR projects, starting with creating great onboarding and integration experience for new employees, employee engagement and actions and developed feedback aimed at improving company retention.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR team for a 700-person company in 12 different countries.
- Lead all recruitment, internal HR, and payroll work.
- Report directly to the CEO
- Create and own our global HR strategy
- Work collaboratively with management and other stakeholders to build a culture of excellence and innovation. Serve as the ‘face of the company’ regarding HR policy and sensitive HR issues. Drive updates to HR practices and work in a self-directed manner.
- Develop and implement the global human resources strategy that allows for employees to feel engaged and rewarded, while at the same time aligning with business strategy and vision.
- Make recommendations to the senior management regarding compensation plans, annual changes to policy, and apply sound business judgement to compensation policies.
- Manage all employee relations issues for international staff. Ensure compliance with international labour laws, supporting audits as necessary.
- Manage employee welfare, wellness and engagement for global staff, and provide guidance and support.
- Manage and execute a performance management process and facilitate improvement of performance management systems and training.
- Provide guidelines to support and implement the global employee handbook, policies and procedures, employment agreements, updates of HRIS, global payroll and ATS, local employee regulations, benefits and compensation guidelines
- Lead development and execution of employee engagement and retention strategies, plans, and initiatives including the design and implementation of benefits, training and career plans globally.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve employee recruitment and hiring processes, onboarding, and initial training across all departments globally for technical and non-technical roles. Establish continuous development opportunities of staff.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective workflow processes for HR services including global talent acquisition, onboarding, development, promotions, internal transfers, departures, etc.
- Provide counsel, coaching, and training to managers in the areas of supervision, employee relations, performance management, employee morale and engagement, learning and development, and leadership effectiveness.
- Oversee global human resources compliance and administration including, but not limited to, record keeping, policies, training, compensation, benefits, recruitment, insurance, reporting, audit and ensure execution to maintain compliance with all applicable laws.
- Manage expansion of the company through opening new offices or M&A processes from an HR perspective.
- Manage reporting to management to ensure visibility and transparency over all HR work globally.
- Lead, mentor and support the HR and Payroll teams to ensure all colleagues have a chance to grow and reach their potential.
Requirements:
- Human Resources professional with 10+ years of progressive human resources experience. Experience in international HR operations required.
- Experience in IT services, or technology environments preferred but not essential.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; graduate degree and/or HR credentials strongly preferred.
- Experience managing and growing a global HR function
- Deep and broad understanding of employment law, recruitment and selection, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and collaboratively about employees’ development and training.
- Ability to influence and build credibility at all levels and establish collaborative working relationships.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex, entrepreneurial and geographically diverse organizational structure.
- Excellent communication skills, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English required.
