Job Summary:

EveryMatrix is looking for a Network Operations Center Engineer to join our IT Governance Department in Bucharest.

Network Operations Center Engineer

Responsibilities:

To ensure success as a Network Operations Center Engineer, you should demonstrate basic knowledge of network and system administration, CDNs, monitoring tools and the ability to work flexible hours.

• Use monitoring tools to identify potential problems
• Monitor the performance and capacity of systems.
• Respond to alerts and generated by monitoring tools.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting incidents.
• Tracking and documenting incidents and compiling incident reports.
• Take part in the post mortem process, making sure that everything is documented correctly.
• Managing and creating Grafana Dashboards, managing, and creating Grafana alerts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Basic knowledge of system and network administration
• Linux commands line experience is a plus
• Basic CDN understanding
• DNS understanding
• Proven ability to work independently
• Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work flexible hours (24/7).
• Ability to work well under pressure.
