Product Owner

Responsibilities:
- Work with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources and timing;
- Ensure documentation about a project is complete and easily available;
- Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved;
- Be in charge for product roadmap;
- Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed;
- Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle;
- Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports;
- Be accountable for project results;
- Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution;
- Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders;
- Keeping track, follow up and proactively update the clients on the status of open issues and requests;
- Keep up to date with all technical developments and enhancements across the department;
- Implementation of Scrum in the development teams;
- Acts as facilitator for Daily Stand-up Meetings, Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Demo Meetings, Sprint Retrospective Meetings, keeping the Scrum-board up to date, reporting on development progress;
- Focuses on removing impediments, help with emails, ‘how to’ procedures, protecting the developers against “noise” and ensuring that the Scrum process is generally kept at a very high standard throughout all development teams;
- Induction to a new employee;
- Present induction confluence docs;
- Responsible to write, improve and to define the policies/metrics;
- Oversee others to ensure the quality levels;
- Strives to build a great workplace for the team.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in project management, product management, account management, business analysis, modeling and implementation of IT projects;
- Basic technical knowledge;
- Qualification in project management or equivalent is a plus;
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools;
- Is passionate about Scrum/Agile;
- Has at least one year of Scrum Master experience;
- Has experience with software development;
- Scrum Master Certification is a plus;
- Keen to learn and share new Agile technique.
- Communication and negotiation skills; presentation skills with a sales focus;
- Ability to prioritize tasks/ objectives with strong organizational, administrative and analytic skills;
- Experience with the gambling industry is a plus;
- Passion for sports and/ or betting is a big plus;
- Has great written and spoken knowledge of English;
- Excellent communication and coaching skills (both written and verbal);
- Fantastic team spirit;
- Capacity to work well with deadlines;
- Result and detail oriented;
- Planning and organizing;
- Decision-making;
- Ability to delegate;
- Good conflict management skills;
- Quality Assurance (QA) experience is a big plus;
- Experience working in a fast-paced project environment and adaptability.
Work-Life Balance:
- 33 days off per year, including public holidays, rising to 43 by year 5 inside the company;
